Just south of the 401 Highway lies the heart of one of Ontario's prettiest little towns. A visit will reveal our boutiques, beautiful architecture, and public spaces that appear much as they did when Napanee was a prosperous trading centre in pioneer Ontario. Napanee offers small-town appeal with a rich history, as is revealed by a visit or viewing of our heritage buildings dotting the local landscape.
Greater Napanee has a population of 15,000 and is located halfway between Kingston and Belleville. A stopover in Napanee is made even more convenient due to our parking policy: it's free! For more details click here. We hope you enjoy your visit to downtown, our town!
1. Big Bright Light Show Brought to you by TransCanada.
The Big Bright Light Show was launched in 2012 and saw 170,000 LED Lights fill the skies of Downtown Napanee. The lights were attached to the building facades along Dundas Street between John and Centre Street. The 2013 Napanee Big Bright Light Show was bigger and better than the 2012 Edition that saw three full blocks and over 450,000 LED lights illuminate the night skies of Downtown Napanee! Click here to view our commercial that aired on CKWS TV last winter about the Big Bright Light Show.
